Listening Mothers
The Art and Science of Mindful Parenting
Welcome

The Listening Mothers program has drawn from brain science, attachment theory, and knowledge
about emotional development to create a unique program that helps establish a strong foundation for a
long lasting bond between children and their parents.  The Listening Mothers program has been
supporting infants and their moms to strengthen their relationships for over 10 years.

Listening Mothers groups are run by professionals including psychologists, social workers, councilors,
and doulas, who are especially trained in infant social emotional development. Usually there are no
more than 7 moms and their babies in a group so moms can get to know each other, feel supported,
and get a chance to participate and share their concerns.

Join a Group in Your area
We have groups running throughout the Greater Seattle Area.  We would love to have you join us for
this wonderful journey of exploration of early mothering and infant development. You will meet moms
who live or work near you and connect with resources and people in your community.  Please
